Meet Our Staff
Theatrix Performing Arts has an outstanding team of dedicated instructors, all of whom are selected to help students succeed. Our team members offer support and guidance, uniquely tailored to each student. Our goal is to provide an environment where everyone is valued for their innovative thinking, creative ideas, and dedication to improving themselves and others.
Susannah has taught in the Performing Arts industry for over 40 years. Her initial training was with the Sandra Patmore School in Watford, followed by London Studio Centre, an industry leader in dance and theatre training.Her mission is to create an environment in which all students are given the tools to help them excel, regardless of race, creed, colour, gender, ability or disability.
Caitlin has been a member of Theatrix since the age of 3, working through her grades in Ballet and Tap, and more recently Modern Jazz and Lyrical. Caitlin has become a popular teacher , especially with her young students on Saturdays. She is really looking forward to taking her teachers exam with British Theatre Dance Association, if only so that she can have a break from years and years of study!!
Colette graduated in 2012 with a BA(Hons) Degree in Contemporary Theatre and Performance. She has starred in 'Invasion Earth' as well as several music video's for local performers. Colette regularly takes groups of young performers to Youth Festivals as an enhancement to their Performing Arts training. Her classes are the most fun you can have preparing for GCSE's and A Levels.
Irish Ceili Teacher
Myfanwy has had a very successful career to date in Irish dancing. She is the holder of 12 Trophies and umpteen sashes and Medals from feisanna including World qualifiers. Her classes are lots of fun and all students are welcome, and best of all, there's no pressure! Myfanwys classes are strictly non competition.
Laura is a dedicated Class Assistant, studying Lyrical , Tap and Classroom Management. Currently studying for GCSE, Laura's ambition is to be a teacher upon completion of her education.
Ania is currently studying for GCSE's as well as assisting at Theatrix. She has been a member since she was four years old and is currently taking her GCSE in LAMDA Drama.
Beth is currently in the process of applying for Performing Arts Colleges as well as preparing for her Teaching Examinations in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. She is a dedicated part of the Theatrix teamand is curently assisting with Drama and Singing in addition to her core subjucts.
Caitlin has been a member of Theatrix since the age of four, taking part in almost every Musical Theatre production we have ever produced! She dedicates her spare time to helping at Theatrix where she is specialising in Musical theatre and Performance.
Stacie has been classically trained and regularly performs around the island. Her skills and enthusiasm enable our Musical Theatre students of all ages to feel confident in their abilities and produce work of an excellent standard. Stacie's Musical Theatre group recently attained 'Honours' in their BTDA examinations.
